I started showing breed shows 10 years ago and purchased clothing from online retailers or used items from other exhibitors.  These fit me poorly and never seemed to capture my personal style and personality.  Many times I would have to spend additional money altering the items to fit.  I was referred to L Louise but was hesitant at first because cost was a big consideration.   I really worried that I would have to spend a lot of money having a custom item made.  Linda assured me she would make me an item that was within my budget and not a penny more.  The items she created were beautiful, fit me perfectly, and were well within my budget.

Fast forward ten years and the horse show clothing business is booming!  After seeing all that others have to offer,  L Louise is still my first choice for custom show clothing.  She is current, up to date, and her designs have creativity beyond my wildest dreams.  While bigger and blingier seem to be the trend, L Louise doesn’t follow the trend; she makes the trends.  I have stopped bringing pictures to her of outfits I wanted duplicated and now give her full creative license and the results are sensational.  Also, I still wear every single one of my tops that she made starting 10 years ago, what a great return on an investment!  The outfits are classic, well made, and have not gone out of style.  Last show season I did not repeat an outfit once!

Besides being an amazing seamstress, Linda and her family are outstanding individuals.  She has become one of my very best friends, and I cherish her friendship and love like no other.

  I have worked with Linda at L. Louise for several years, she has designed wonderful pieces for my daughters.  Linda is great to work with, and produces wonderful pieces.  We start the process by deciding on the colors for each top, we then discuss what we like and dislike for the top.  Linda takes it from there.  She has got a great eye for what is in style for my girls.  Linda puts a lot of detail in each piece she designs.  We continuously get compliments of our show clothes at the Quarter Horse shows we attend.  It is hard to pick a favorite piece that Linda has made for us, but there is one that I love.  It is a horsemanship top with a vest for my daughter, Rachel.  Rachel had one request from Linda before she made this top, and that was she wanted her initials RK somewhere on the vest.  Linda stated, “Ok, I will see what I can come up with.” We received the vest a few weeks later in the mail.  We LOVED it!! Although we looked for the RK and at first we couldn't find it.  I told my daughter, “Linda must not have been able to incorporate it into the vest,” but we love it anyway! After a minute or two of looking at the vest, we found “RK”! It was under some fringe that was sewn onto the vest! What a great surprise! Linda out did herself again! Linda is the only one we will ever go to for custom work! She is wonderful to work with, and produces great work!

When shopping for my daughters Showmanship outfit and then her most recent Horsemanship top, we were looking for a "Wow Factor" and that's what we found in Linda! 

She worked together with my teenage daughter, Sarah,  who came into both her appointments with an idea and color theme and they both came up with fantastic designs.

My daughter and I needed two new showmanship outfits but wanted to have design input on them.  Linda was the only person who was willing to work with us this way!  Her ideas and input added just the right touches to make our vision a reality.  Actually they turned out better than we imagined!  Her knowledge, experience and resources coupled with her being one of the nicest ladies we have ever met, made the whole process so enjoyable and exciting!  

Linda works tirelessly to meet deadlines, ships outfits to you if you can not make it up to her, is fastidious about perfect fit and tailoring and can usually take an item apart (that you foolishly bought rather than had her make!) and put it back together the right way!  There are no short cuts in her work.  She has been perfecting her skill for a long time and we think she could easily be making outfits for Dancing with the Stars!  Yes, she's that good!  

Linda is also realistically priced.  Her work is labor intensive, expertly made but doesn't break the bank.  You need it, she can make it.  We have had her make new outfits and chaps and tailor old outfits.  She can do it all.  We will never buy ready made or use anyone but LLouise for our show clothes again!
